One of the last of my 145 collection. Very rare and collectable. In extremely good-excellent condition this "blast from the past" is an “estate style” circulator coal / wood heater. Proudly manufactured right here in the USA by the Tennessee Stove Works in Chattanooga {1888-mid 1900s]. This fancy home heater is an early estate-style coal/wood circulator stove. Needs no electricity or blowers. It is ready to display or install to work hard to heat your home. Clean as a whistle inside and without an issue. Truly a marvel of engineering and efficiency. This rare fully intact coal/wood heater is very similar to those manufactured by a company called Estate. From the Spanish-American War of 1898 through two world wars and the Korean War, a variety of these stoves were manufactured for a number of uses including the military. Their heating products were considered "bullet-proof" in that their stoves were meticulously and consistently over-designed and over-built under the most stringent guidelines. 100% cast iron insides and measures 45" H x 26" W x 18" D [without rear flue collar]. Because this stove was designed and built to burn coal it will last generations as a woodburner. Front loading, sealed ash door with "ez" remove ash tray system and the original hand ash shaker grate crank! Standard 6" rear flue collar. This stove boasts a rear built in H2O reservoir for added humidity! The TENNESSEE is best known for its efficient densely cast iron heat exchanger that is a marvel of engineering. A stove built like this today would cost thousands. Best yet, everything is all exquisitely wrapped up and surrounded by a beautiful porcelain ceramic baked on mahogany brown HD steel exterior. Note the mica front window to view the fire! Such detail and rare, refreshing craftsmanship! With rare beauty, design, timeless form and function this stove will prove to be a wise investment, an heirloom or a showpiece but it is most certainly a hearty coal/wood burning stove that is ready to install, use or display. Great “insurance” too in this day and age. Just $388 OBO . . . but please...NO TEXTS as my phone is also an antique. Simply call Paul, that's all!
