Original single rear leaf springs can be replaced with multi leaf springs by simply replacing the U-bolts and adding shock extenders which allow the springs to set correctly.
The leaf springs include polyurethane bushings.

I am selling an original GM 12 bolt rear end for a Camaro, Firebird or Nova. The rear end came from my 1970 Nova, it is not an aftermarket rear end, it is an uncut original which would be perfect for a restoration project.
The rear end has a 3.73:1 ring and pinion, Drive Train Specialties aluminum rear cover which provides main bearing support and a posi-traction unit. This is a factory drum brake rear end.
